Carbon steel threaded flange
General industrial pipeline: commonly used in general industrial pipeline system with low pressure and medium without strong corrosiveness, such as compressed air pipeline and common water pipeline in factories. These pipelines do not require high corrosion resistance of flanges, and the strength and economy of carbon steel material can meet the demand.
Building water supply and drainage system: It is also used in the water supply and drainage pipelines inside the building, and is suitable for conveying domestic water at room temperature and non-corrosive drainage water. Due to its low cost, it can meet the requirements of use while reducing the cost of the project.
Agricultural irrigation system: It can be used in agricultural irrigation pipelines to convey irrigation water. Requirements for corrosion resistance are relatively low, carbon steel threaded flanges are cost-effective and can withstand the pressure in the irrigation system.
Stainless steel threaded flanges
Food and beverage industry: Because stainless steel has good corrosion resistance and hygiene properties, stainless steel threaded flanges are widely used in piping systems in the food and beverage industry, such as milk, juice and other beverages conveying piping, as well as water and steam piping in food processing, etc., which ensures that the medium is not contaminated and complies with food hygiene standards.
Pharmaceutical industry: In the process of pharmaceutical production and transportation, the cleanliness and corrosion resistance of the pipeline are highly required. Stainless steel threaded flanges can meet these requirements and are commonly used in infusion pipelines, purified water pipelines, water for injection pipelines, etc. in pharmaceutical production to prevent the pipeline material from influencing the quality of drugs.
Chemical industry: when the medium transported by chemical pipeline has certain corrosiveness, but the pressure is not high, stainless steel threaded flanges will be used. For example, some of the pipeline conveying dilute acid, dilute alkali and other corrosive media, stainless steel can resist the corrosion of the medium to ensure the safe operation of the pipeline system.
Seawater treatment system: in the desalination plant, seaside industrial facilities and other systems involving seawater treatment, stainless steel threaded flanges can be used for seawater piping, desalination water piping and so on. Its corrosion resistance can resist the erosion of seawater and extend the service life of the piping system.
In addition, in some special occasions with high requirements for corrosion resistance and hygiene, threaded flanges of special materials such as nickel-based alloys, titanium alloys, etc. may also be used to meet the requirements for use in extreme conditions, such as high temperature, high pressure, strong corrosive media and other environments.
