Corrugated Metal Gasket Description:
As the name suggests, the solid corrugated metal gasket is comprised solely of metal and does not contain any non-metallic fillers in its construction. The temperature limitation of the gasket is only affected by the metal selected.
 
Style 100, a Corrugated Metal Gasket, has corrugations that provide multi-seals across the face of the gasket. Pitch of of the corrugations can be 1/8", 3/16" or 1/4". Three concentric corrugations on each side of the gasket are suggested. Where practical a flat area should be left on each side of the corrugations.
 
Style 102, a Single-Jacketed Gasket, is a Corrugated Metal Gasket enclosed in a flat metal jacket that covers the inside and outside diameters of the gasket and the contact surface on one side.
 
Typically used for high temperature applications and applications involving steam, water, gas, oil etc. up to 1000 psi in the case of Style 129 and 102, and up to 500 psi in the case of Style 100.

• Graphite facing thicknesses: 0.5mm standard and 0.8mm on request
• Also available with a U-Shaped Eyelet fitted to the bore and the outside periphery of the gasket. The eyelet fitted to the bore prevents contamination of the process media and protects the graphite from the process media
