Stainless Steel Tee 304/316 ANSI B16.9 Butt Weld Fitting for Oil Gas Chemical Pipeline Corrosion Proof
1. Product Description
The Stainless Steel Tee is a three-way pipe fitting manufactured from premium austenitic stainless steel grades including 304, 304L, 316, and 316L. Its T-shaped geometry integrates three openings, allowing for branch connections in pipeline networks. It is available in equal configurations, where all three ends share the same nominal diameter, and reducing configurations, where the branch outlet is smaller than the run. Production methods include cold forming by hydraulic expansion and hot forming by pressing, both of which ensure uniform wall thickness distribution and enhanced mechanical properties at the junction areas.
2. Product Applications
This fitting is essential for creating branch lines in piping systems for fluid distribution or collection. It enables the splitting of a single flow into two separate streams or the merging of two streams into one. Typical applications span across industrial sectors such as petrochemical processing, power generation, marine engineering, metallurgy, construction, natural gas transmission, fertilizer production, nuclear facilities, shipbuilding, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and municipal infrastructure. It also performs reliably in service lines for potable water, sanitary water, heating and cooling systems, seawater desalination, firefig
3.Product Advantages
Superior resistance to oxidation and pitting, particularly with low‑carbon grades (L‑series) that prevent intergranular corrosion after welding.
Broad operating envelope from cryogenic temperatures up to 800°C, with pressure ratings matching the most demanding process requirements.
Robust structural integrity with tensile strength exceeding 520 MPa and yield strength above 205 MPa, ensuring long‑term reliability without frequent replacement.
Versatile joining options: butt‑weld ends for permanent high‑integrity joints, threaded ends for easy assembly, socket‑weld ends for small‑bore lines, and flanged ends for quick disconnection.
Extensive size availability, covering nominal diameters from DN15 to DN2000 and wall schedules from 5S to 160, with custom dimensions and angles available on request.
Fully recyclable and non‑leaching material, making it suitable for sensitive environments such as food processing and drinking water supply.
