Product Description

ANSI B16.9 Stainless Steel Butt Weld Eccentric Reducer Class 150 Pipe Fittings

1. Product Description

Stainless Steel Reducer is a precision pipe fitting engineered to connect pipes of different diameters with smooth inner-wall transition. Manufactured by cold or hot forming, it is available in Concentric (center‑aligned) and Eccentric (flat‑side offset) designs, ensuring turbulence‑free flow, minimal pressure drop, and long‑term service reliability in demanding environments.

2. Product Applications

  • Oil & gas gathering and transmission lines

  • Chemical, petrochemical and refining plants

  • Municipal water supply and wastewater treatment

  • Power generation (thermal, nuclear, renewable)

  • Pharmaceutical, biotech and clean‑room facilities

  • Food, dairy and beverage processing

  • Offshore platforms, shipbuilding and marine piping

  • Pulp, paper and textile mills

  • HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems

3.Product Advantages

  • Premium austenitic and duplex stainless steels – excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.

  • High mechanical strength and fatigue resistance, suitable for cyclic pressure and temperature loads.

  • Precision machining ensures tight dimensional control and leak‑free butt‑weld or socket‑weld connections.

  • One‑piece forming (no longitudinal seam) reduces weak points; welded versions also available for large diameters.

  • Minimal maintenance – inherently rust‑proof, weather‑proof and chemical‑resistant.

  • Optimised internal profile yields pressure loss <5% over a wide service range (-20°C to 450°C with certain grades).

  • Full customisation – material grades, wall schedules, surface finishes and end preparations available on request.
