Duplex 2205 Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe
Our Duplex 2205 (UNS S32205) stainless steel seamless pipes are manufactured to ASTM A790/ASME SA790 standards, delivering the optimal combination of austenitic and ferritic stainless steel properties. With approximately twice the yield strength of standard austenitic grades, Duplex 2205 pipes provide outstanding performance in demanding offshore environments.
Key Features
- ✓Superior Corrosion Resistance: Excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in chloride-containing environments up to 50°C.
- ✓High Mechanical Strength: Yield strength of 450 MPa minimum, nearly double that of 304L and 316L grades, enabling reduced wall thickness and material cost savings.
- ✓Good Weldability: Compatible with standard welding procedures including GTAW, SMAW, and SAW with proper filler metal selection.
- ✓Wide Temperature Range: Suitable for service temperatures from -50°C to 300°C, with excellent impact toughness at sub-zero conditions.
