This super duplex S32750 S32760 stainless steel butt weld reducer is purpose-built for demanding corrosive environments where standard austenitic grades are not sufficient. Combining roughly equal amounts of austenite and ferrite, super duplex grades such as UNS S32750 and UNS S32760 deliver approximately twice the yield strength of 316L stainless steel together with outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. The reducer is formed by seamless processing and finished with butt weld ends, making this super duplex stainless steel reducer the preferred solution for offshore platforms, seawater handling, desalination plants and chemical process piping operating under high chloride loads.

Because super duplex material is sensitive to heat treatment, our shop controls the forming temperature, cooling rate and solution annealing parameters precisely, then verifies the austenite-ferrite phase balance through metallographic testing and ferrite measurement. Impact testing and intergranular corrosion testing are performed on representative samples to confirm the mechanical properties of the super duplex stainless steel butt weld reducer. This careful thermal processing is essential to preserve the pitting resistance and toughness that make S32750 and S32760 grades perform reliably in seawater and sour service.
