Product Overview

This High Pressure 316L Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe is manufactured for pressure vessel fabrication and high pressure process lines where mechanical integrity is critical. Because the pipe is produced by the seamless method, it has no longitudinal weld and therefore no weld-related defects or heat-affected zones, allowing it to carry higher design pressures than welded pipe of the same wall thickness.

The 316L grade adds molybdenum for improved corrosion resistance, so the pipe performs well in both high pressure and mildly corrosive service such as chemical reactors, autoclaves and hydraulic systems.

Every length is cold drawn to close dimensional tolerance, solution annealed, pickled and hydrostatically tested at a pressure agreed with the customer. Outside diameter ranges from 6 mm to 630 mm with wall thickness from 0.5 mm to 30 mm, giving engineers the freedom to select a size that meets the required design pressure with an economical safety margin. The pipe can be supplied plain end, bevelled for welding, or threaded for screwed connections.
