1. Product Description
This product is a stainless steel short-type butt-welding stub end, manufactured in strict compliance with ASTM A403 and ASME B16.9 standards, and generally meets MSS SP-43 requirements as well. It is a forged or wrought butt-welding fitting designed to be used with a Lap Joint Flange, forming a detachable lap joint connection. The material is ASTM A403 WP304 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.

5. Functions

Cleaning: Remove all dirt, grease, oil, or debris from the weld areas of both the pipe end and the stub end.

Alignment: Accurately align the plain (non-flanged) end of the stub end with the pipe end.
