1. Product Description
This product is a butt-welding equal tee manufactured from UNS C70600 (90/10 Copper-Nickel alloy / CuNi 90/10) in accordance with ASTM B466 and ASME B16.9 standards. Also known as CuNi10Fe1Mn or Werkstoff Nr. 2.0872, this alloy contains approximately 90% copper and 10% nickel, with small but important additions of iron (1.0-1.8%) and manganese to enhance overall strength and corrosion resistance. This 2" fitting is designed for permanent butt-weld connection, providing a three-way junction with equal-diameter ports for perpendicular flow branching.

5. Product Functions
The butt-welding equal tee connects three pipe sections in a T-shaped configuration with all three ports of equal diameter (2"). It enables fluid to be divided from a single inlet into two branch outlets, or combined from two inlets into one outlet, providing a permanent, leak-proof junction point for flow distribution in piping systems.
6. Installation Instructions

Unpacking Inspection: Check for transit damage; verify markings are clear and complete

Surface Preparation: Clean bevel and 30mm of inner/outer wall area with stainless steel wire brush; remove all oil, grease, and paint

Alignment: Accurately align the tee with connecting pipes. Maximum permissible misalignment during fit-up is 10% of wall thickness, not exceeding 1.5mm

Welding: Use GTAW (TIG) process with ERCuNi filler wire (AWS A5.7). Use low current and fast welding speed to avoid overheating. Shielding: 100% argon or Ar-He mix. Preheating generally not required; maximum interpass temperature 150°C. No post-weld heat treatment required

Hydrotest: Test pressure = 1.5 × design pressure; ambient temperature should not be below 5°C during testing
