The Solution Annealed Extended Service Life Stainless Steel Straight Tee is manufactured from ASTM A403 WP321 titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel, providing exceptional resistance to intergranular corrosion at elevated temperatures up to 900°C. The solution annealing heat treatment at 1050-1120°C followed by rapid quenching ensures complete dissolution of titanium carbides and a fully homogenized microstructure. Titanium stabilization (5*C minimum) provides supplementary protection against sensitization during long-term elevated temperature service.
This combination of WP321 base material and proper solution annealing delivers an extended service life stainless steel straight tee that maintains mechanical integrity and corrosion resistance through decades of thermal cycling in high-temperature process environments. The butt weld straight tee configuration allows full-penetration welding for maximum joint reliability.
