Class 2500 high pressure butt weld fittings are built for the most demanding steam and process lines, where a failure would be catastrophic. This reducing tee is made from WP91 chrome molybdenum alloy steel, a material developed for high temperature, high pressure service in power and hydrogen applications.

The Class 2500 wall thickness gives these high pressure butt weld fittings a very high working pressure, and the WP91 alloy resists creep and oxidation at elevated temperature. The reducing branch allows a smaller line to be tapped from a main header without adding a separate fitting.

Each high pressure reducing tee is forged, heat treated and machined to ASME B16.9 and ASTM A234, with wall thickness controlled to your schedule from SCH80 up to XXS. The material is fully traceable and can be supplied with ultrasonic and radiographic testing.
