5. Product Functions
The pipe serves as the primary conduit for transporting fluids under pressure across long distances and within processing facilities. 6. Instruction for Use

• Verify pipe grade, OD, wall thickness, and specification level (PSL1/PSL2) against the approved design before installation .

• Inspect pipe body and ends for dents, gouges, corrosion, or bevel damage upon receipt.

• Handle pipe with suitable lifting equipment; do not drop or drag. Protect beveled ends and coatings .

• Clean pipe ends and internal bore before alignment.

• Align pipe sections carefully; do not force alignment with excessive external loads.

• For welding, follow a qualified WPS with preheat and interpass temperature controls appropriate to the grade and wall thickness.

• Perform visual inspection, NDT, and hydrostatic testing per project requirements.

• Keep open pipe ends protected when installation is interrupted to prevent debris entry .

7. Precautions

• Do not subject pipe to impact or drop during storage and handling; damaged bevels affect joint quality.

• Store pipe on level ground with adequate drainage; avoid standing water contact.

• Keep carbon steel pipe separated from stainless steel to prevent galvanic corrosion.

• Verify mill test certificates match the delivered heat numbers before installation.

• Do not exceed specified bending limits; forced alignment introduces residual stresses.

• For sour service (H2S), confirm the pipe meets NACE MR0175 requirements; seamless pipe is generally preferred over ERW in sour environments .

• Ensure pipeline is depressurized and drained before any maintenance or repair.

8. Shipping Information

• Standard export packing: in bundles secured with steel strips, or loose for larger diameters .

• Container loading: 20ft container accommodates lengths up to 5.8m; 40ft container accommodates lengths up to 11.8m .

• Dispatch: 7–10 working days for stock items; 15–45 days for production orders depending on quantity and specification .

9. Payment Terms

• T/T: 30% deposit, 70% balance before shipment (or against copy of B/L).

10. Packaging

11. Return & After-Sales Policy

• Quality claims must be submitted in writing within 7 business days of receipt, with photos, heat numbers, and inspection data .

• Products confirmed non-conforming to contract specifications due to our fault: replacement, repair, or compensation provided .

• Custom-cut or coated products are not eligible for return unless defective.

• Claims for shipping damage must be reported immediately upon receipt with carrier documentation.
