1. Product Description

A Stainless Steel Reducer (also called a reducing coupling or reducer fitting) is a piping component used to connect two pipe sections of different diameters. It is available in two geometric configurations: concentric reducers and eccentric reducers. A concentric reducer is a symmetrical cone with both ends sharing the same centreline. An eccentric reducer has one flat side and offset centrelines, and can be supplied in Bottom-of-Pipe (BOP) or Top-of-Pipe (TOP) orientation. Common materials include 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, and duplex stainless steels. Reducers are manufactured by reducing, expanding, or stamping processes and are available with butt-weld, threaded, socket-weld, press-fit, or clamp-on end connections.
