1.Product Description

API 5L carbon steel pipe is manufactured to API Spec 5L for high-pressure transmission of oil, gas, and water. Grades range from B to X80, with the number indicating minimum yield strength in ksi. Processes include SMLS, LSAW, SSAW, ERW, and EFW. Quality levels PSL1 and PSL2, with PSL2 requiring stricter chemistry, toughness, and NDT coverage. OD 10.3mm～2032mm; wall thickness and length custom-engineered.

 

2. Product Applications

Long-distance and subsea oil/gas trunk lines, field gathering/injection networks, refinery process piping, city gas/heating/water mains, offshore platforms, and structural steel load-bearing members.
