Aluminum tube/pipe is one of the most widely used aluminum profile shapes. Aluminum's high strength, light weight, and resistance to rust and corrosion make it a great choice for everything from automobiles to heat sinks.
Aluminum tube/pipe can be divided into different categories:
(1)Shape: square, round, rectangular, streak, irregular, and so on.
(2)Extrusion method: seamless, common extruded.
(3)Precision: common extruded, precise (which needs further processing, such as cold-drawn and rolling after extrusion).

Aluminum pipe is a kind of non-ferrous metal pipe, refers to the pure aluminum or aluminum alloy by extrusion processing into the longitudinal length of the hollow metal tubular material. It is a kind of high strength duralumin, which can be strengthened by heat treatment. Its plasticity is medium in annealing, rigid quenching and hot state, and spot welding has good weldability.

The machinability of aluminum pipe is good after quenching and cold hardening, but bad in annealing state. The corrosion
resistance is not high, and the anodic oxidation treatment and painting method or surface coating aluminum layer are often used to improve the corrosion resistance. It can also be used as mold material.

A: This particular tubing comes without tri-clamp ends standard. We can always weld tri-clamp ferrules to the end of tubes for any specific length you need. These products are referred to as tri-clamp spool assemblies. If you need a specific length, please

Q: Are you able to cut tubing to lengths that don't require freight shipping? Say 5' lengths for example.?
A:Yes, we are able to cut down to other sizes. UPS Ground is able to ship up to 7' without the tubing being considered "oversized".We do charge a cutting fee for this service, however. Please contact us for a quote.
Q:How much does 1 stick of 4" tube weigh?
A: One 20' Stick of 4" Sanitary Tubing weighs approximately 75 pounds.
Q:You list gauge of this tubing at 16, but the wall thickness at 0.065". Isn't 16 gauge 0.0625"?

Q: Do you sell tubing in anything less than cases? I need to order just over 400 feet but don't want to pay for two cases as this is More than I need.
A: We do sell tubing on an individual basis however there is a $50 "broken box" fee applied to any order less than an entire case.Since we don't offer a way to order individual tube pieces online please call us to place an order over the phone.
